So, I have to say that, this is the first Eleventh Doctor episode that has really touched me.  Really well done...and the actor who played Van Gogh was really well cast ( Read more... )

So, I've commented in somewhat length about "The End of Time" in this lj post, but it's been a day now and I'm still reflecting.  But rather than reflecting on the episode itself, I'm thinking about Ten's run as the Doctor.

I cannot formulate anything more coherant than that right now, except for this:  I need one of you to hold me, dang it, because I am NOT going to be able to get through "The End of Time."

Can you tell that I'm reeeeeeeeeally trying to stretch these out?  I'm in those last few episodes where I'll get to see Ten in a brand new adventure and don't want to see his time end!  Yes, yes, I know Eleven is loved by many.  But...but...I'm having a hard time letting go and it's not even yet that time!

...one of the Specials.  And as a follow up to the FREAKING HEARTBREAKING "Journey's End," I felt this was really lighthearted.

And not that referential to the FREAKING HEARTBREAK (have I mentioned that yet?) of the end of series 4.

So, it's been a few weeks since I watched Journey's End...there's been Torchwood in between, and now I'm waiting on the Doctor Who specials to arrive by mail. Yay Amazon for having them on sale!
